 e-mail Ginny | I'm looking for a nice spa where I can buy a voucher for a day of pampering for a friind that really needs it!

e-mail Swissie | | Where does your friend live? There is a nice hot spa in Yverdon and lots in the Valais. The nearest to Geneva being Lavey.

I think she'd be prepared to travel and get away a bit from Geneva! Maybe I could get together with a group of friends and book a weekend break somewhere for her
Are there any in particular in Valais that you can recommend? |

e-mail Swissie | | So sorry for late reply - I have been away. The nearest is still in Vaud, near Aigle called Lavey les Bains. In the Valais, there are many. Saillon is the easiest to reach as in Valley bottom near Sion. Otherwise Ovronnaz is right above, in the mountains. Fantastic views and a great place. Further along there is Loèche-les=Bains, above Sierre, with several hotels doing special breaks. There is also a lovely one in Charmey near Gruyère, in the Canton Fribourg. Google them ans see what you think.
