Hot Summer NightsThis Sunday coming - 21 June - is the northern hemisphere's summer solstice, which means it's the longest day of the year: midsummer's day! It also means it's that time of the year for the annual three-day Fête de la Musique in Geneva, a recent tradition that was started in France but spreads a little further each year and is now becoming known as World Music Day. MIDSUMMER NIGHT MUSICEven though Sunday is the longest day of the year, it's only the start of the summer festival season and as the long evenings grow warmer you'll find a wide range of festivals, concerts and events all around the region. Browse the AngloINFO What's On Guide to see what's happening near you. The What's On Guide is an important feature of the site. It provides listings of local events, specially selected to appeal to the anglophone market. Browse the guide using the right-hand side menu to select the event category or event location that interests you. You can also pick a specific day using the calendar. There's lots listed with something for all tastes. If you're organising an event you can click on the link that's on every page of the guide and tell us all about it. We'll list it - for free!
